Welcome to our first edition of the StartUP Jönköping Pitch Night, an evening that will showcase and celebrate upcoming student entrepreneurs from our university!
Are you working on a promising real business idea? Do you want to kickstart your venture and receive invaluable feedback from an expert jury?
Then there is no better opportunity than to participate at our Pitch Night, present your idea in front of professional investors and other experts from the startup ecosystem, and take home one of our amazing prices! These will include attractive price money, access to valuable growth programmes and much more! Also, one of the prices will be awarded through an audience vote, so make sure to bring all your friends and let them vote for their favorite idea! Therefore, of course, the event is also open for everyone that doesn’t pitch their idea but who is interested in listening to the pitches and find out what business ideas our fellow students have in their pockets. You will not want to miss this!!

To make it even more enjoyable, there will be free food, snacks and drinks (alcohol for sale only) during the event.
Doors in Rio (Student House, ground floor) will open at 17:30pm and the first pitches will start shortly after 18:00pm.
So get excited and make sure to encourage everyone you might know with a promising idea to sign up! Looking forward to seeing you all there.

If you are interested in competing, all you have to do is sign up (as a team or individual) and attach a pdf of the pitch presentation (this doesn’t need to be the final version).
The Deadline to hand in the pitch is April 10, 23:59PM through this link: https://goo.gl/forms/QxeR3ON1SmHhuWAB3
The final teams/particpants will then be selected by StartUP and notified until April 12 15:00PM.
If you are one of the final participants, nothing more stands between you and the top-class jury, an opportunity for which we will prepare you the best possible way together with Science Park. Each Team/ participant will meet with Science Park on April 16 to get valuable feedback from one of their business developers and conduct some last fine tuning. Further, you will meet us together with Science Park on April 17 again to get more tips on how to bring your pitch presentation to the next level. After this schedule, you will be ready to present your idea in front of our manifold jury and network. The time slots for the feedback session as well as the pitch training will be communicated to the final teams/ participants within the confirmation mail on April 12.
Before you prepare your application, bear already in mind that the final pitch presentation during the event shall not exceed 7 minutes.
Don’t forget that there will be an audience price, too! So make sure to bring all your friends for support 🙂
